Bali known worldwide as one of the best surfing destinations, whether you’re an experienced surfer or just a beginner looking for surf lessons. Surf Melali is based in Canggu, Bali on the South West coast of Indonesia. Canggu is know all over the island as a “surf haven”, and you’ll soon understand why after every other person you see has their surfboard with them.
When is the best time to visit Bali for surfing?
No matter what time of the year it is, Bali has amazing waves. The West coast of Bali, where most of the beach breaks are, is best to visit between April and October when weather conditions provide the best breaks. Between mid November and early March, the weather changes making the East coast your ideal destination. However, on the East coast of the island, the reef breaks found here are more ideal for the '“experienced” surfer.
Additionally, between Dezember and March, which is the rainy season in Bali, surfing can be quite unpredictable.
